Peristerite (Rainbow Moonstone) Gemstone Bracelet 18k Gold Plated Handmade

The peristerite beads have a diameter of 4 mm and are milky white in color with discrete bluish reflections.

The spacer beads used are round and have a diameter of 3 mm.

A star-shaped, gold-plated charm refines the model.

All metallic elements are made of 14k gold plated brass except the chain extension and the charm (24k).

In the picture, The handmade bracelet has a functional length of approx. 18.5 cm (size M) and approx. 1.5 cm chain extension to adjust the size. It is suitable for a wrist circumference of approx. 16-17 cm.

Peristerite, also called rainbow moonstone or white labradorite, belongs to the feldspar family and is a type of albite. It consists of sodium aluminosilicate. Depending on the direction of the light, this milky-white stone has bluish reflections due to adularescence effects. This physical phenomenon occurs below the surface and results from light interference with the different layers of the stone.
