Filigree gold-plated bracelet with peristerite (rainbow moonstone)

This delicate bracelet is made of milky white peristerite beads and gold-plated elements. Its delicate design combines the stone's subtle reflections with gold accents, giving the piece a feminine, timelessly elegant boho-chic appeal.

Details about the piece of jewelry

The peristerite beads have a diameter of 4 mm and show a milky white color with fine bluish reflections depending on the incidence of light.
The spacer beads are round and measure approx. 3 mm.
A star-shaped charm in 24-carat gold plating adds a delicate, playful touch to the design.
All other metallic elements are made of 18-carat gold-plated brass.
In the picture, the handmade bracelet has a functional length of approximately 18.5 cm (size M) and a chain extension of approximately 1.5 cm for adjustment. It is suitable for a wrist circumference of approximately 16 to 17 cm.

Special features of the stone

Peristerite, also known as rainbow moonstone or white labradorite, belongs to the feldspar family and is a variant of albite. It consists of sodium aluminum silicate.
Its bluish reflections are caused by adularescence effects under the surface, which are caused by light interference with fine layers in the stone.
