Moonstone gemstone bracelet 18k gold plated handmade

The moonstone beads have a diameter of approx. 4 mm and have a beautiful iridescent and orange color gradient.

In the picture, The handmade bracelet has a functional length of approx. 18.5 cm (size M). It is suitable for a wrist circumference of approx. 16 cm.

All metallic elements are made of 18k gold-plated brass.

Moonstone belongs to the silicate family and the feldspar group. It is composed of potassium aluminosilicate. Its color can vary from orange to brown, pink, white and even blue. Depending on the direction of the light, it has iridescent and metallic reflections due to adularescence effects. This physical phenomenon appears below the surface and results from light interference with the different layers of the stone, which alternate between albite and orthoclase.
