Filigree short necklace with labradorite pendant 18k gold plated handmade

The necklace consists of a thin anchor chain (approx. 2 mm).

A small pendant made of labradorite refines the model. The labradorite stone is approximately 9 mm long and has a diameter of 7 mm. It is irregular and has a grayish green color with discrete bluish reflections.

The small size of the different elements makes the necklace inconspicuous and elegant.

All metallic elements are made of 18k gold-plated brass.

The handmade choker chain has a length of approximately 40 cm.

Labradorite belongs to the feldspar family. It consists of sodium and calcium aluminosilicates and contains traces of iron. Its metallic iridescent color and its color change between blue and green depending on the direction of the light is called adularescence. This physical phenomenon occurs below the surface and results from light interference between the different layers of the stone.
