Filigree short necklace with red tiger eye (bull's eye) pendant 18k gold plated handmade

The necklace consists of a thin anchor chain (approx. 2 mm).

A small pendant made of red tiger eye (bull's eye) refines the model. The stone is approximately 8 mm long and has a diameter of 7 mm. It is irregular and exhibits a beautiful iridescent color gradient from brown to red.

The small size of the various elements makes the necklace inconspicuous and elegant.

All metallic elements are made of 18k gold-plated brass.

The Handmade choker chain has a length of approximately 40 cm.

Bull's eye belongs to the microcrystalline quartz family. It consists of silicon dioxide and contains quartz, amphibole, and hematite. It forms in a special way, called "hydrothermal." Crocidolite, a fibrous mineral, dissolves, and quartz forms in the altered zones. This substitution by quartz explains the iridescent and shiny appearance of bull's eye. Compared to tiger's eye, which is yellow, its reddish hue is due to exposure to higher temperatures.
