Filigree gold-plated short necklace with black tourmaline

This delicate necklace combines faceted black tourmaline beads with gold-plated elements. The design is delicate and simple, yet elegant and full of character.

Details about the piece of jewelry

The necklace is made of faceted tourmaline beads (Brazil, grade 4A) with a diameter between 2 and 3 mm. The lustrous beads display subtle natural shades of deep black with occasional inclusions.
A small handmade charm complements the design and adds a subtle golden accent.
All metal parts are made of high-quality 18-carat gold-plated brass.
The chain measures approximately 39 cm and has an approximately 2 cm extension for individual adjustment.
The small size of the individual elements makes the piece of jewelry both understated and elegant. It's perfect for a minimalist look or as a subtle detail in a layered style.

Special features of the stone

Black tourmaline belongs to the silicate family. It consists of complex mixtures of silicates and borosilicates, with elements such as iron, aluminum, magnesium, lithium, manganese, titanium, chromium, vanadium, as well as ions of calcium, sodium, potassium, and even lead. This diversity gives the stone its extraordinary structure and depth.
