Filigree gold-plated bracelet with amethyst

Details about the piece of jewelry

The amethyst beads (China, grade 3A–4A) have a diameter of approximately 2 mm and feature a gentle gradient of violet. Their smooth surface gives the bracelet a calm, harmonious appearance.
The round spacer beads (1.5 mm) complement the design with a fine accent.
All metallic elements are made of 18-carat gold-plated brass.
The small size of the various beads and elements makes the bracelet inconspicuous and elegant.
In the picture, the handmade bracelet has a functional length of approximately 19 cm (size L). It fits a wrist circumference of approximately 17 cm.

Special features of the stone

Amethyst belongs to the quartz family and is composed of silicon oxide. Its violet color is due to traces of iron oxide in the crystal. Lighter areas are formed by internal branching caused by hydrothermal fluids of varying chemical composition during the growth process.
