Details about the piece of jewelry

This delicate necklace features a fine cable chain (approx. 2 mm) and a small, irregularly shaped tiger's eye pendant. The natural stone originates from Brazil (5A quality) and exhibits a warm color gradient from yellow to brown. Measuring approximately 10 x 8 mm, the pendant is both understated and sophisticated.
All metallic elements are made of 18-carat gold-plated brass.

Special features of the stone

Tiger's eye belongs to the microcrystalline quartz family. It consists of silicon dioxide and also contains quartz fibers, amphiboles, and hematite. It was formed through hydrothermal processes: the originally fibrous mineral crocidolite was gradually replaced by quartz. This transformation explains the characteristic shimmer and iridescent depth of tiger's eye.
