Wires

Depending on the application, desired strength and flexibility, I use different types of wires and threads:

• Classic nylon thread, for woven earrings and certain bracelet models with fine, light beads
• Fluorocarbon wire for stiffer bracelets and larger diameter beads
• Wires made of pure stainless steel and gold-plated or silver-plated steel, coated with nylon, for making necklaces and bracelets with relatively heavy beads
• Gold-plated and semi-hard brass wire for making eye pins and bangles
